Fun fact. It finally set a year or two ago when a some random island went independent. The sun never sets on the British Empire.
They were just being escorted home on a public road in the middle of the day. Generally not exactly a dangerous situation/stopping a moving carriage isn't that easy. Probably guards around town as well. The issue is the silly kid running into an alley chasing a random stray cat.Why are there no guards? one of those kids is literally a family of a ducal family...
Drop a second sun on itThe sun never sets on the British Empire.
Which probably won’t exist for another 100 years or soNgl the entire kingdom deserved a nuke![]()
Ngl that part was painful to read, and not for the reason the author plannedFinding the crazy bitch randomly because of a cat is so forced, kind of weird coming from this well written story.
Not in this story. Can I get one (1) feel good, unconvoluted and saccharine chapter please
He lives as a true spies, lived without showing his true face.Simon Dalkian died as he lived: without showing his face.
I believe they shouldn't leave children alone in the carriage. The servant left the carriage door open too. Either be under strict instructions to go straight home without any stops or have more than 1 escort. Kids do run very quickly. They were just being escorted home on a public road in the middle of the day. Generally not exactly a dangerous situation/stopping a moving carriage isn't that easy. FrI binged this and all I can say is that I -really- want one of the main bads/big bads to finally have shit happen to them instead of the other way around or more peons getting it instead.
I'm more annoyed the evil hag managed to walk around in broad daylight. The gendarmerie absolutely suck at their job. Since everyone in power for 2+ generations is so incompetent, I actually want the country destroyed now.Why are there no guards? one of those kids is literally a family of a ducal family...
