So, basically, she's an egotist who can't handle the reality that she's working for an entertainment industry and didn't speak up to any authorities about her boss's behavior. She also wanders around at night alone after drinking and is surprised that she is attacked. She also is upset that people who don't know her at all are only attracted to her body as if they should magically know her as a person somehow and should somehow be attracted to that (hint: no one is, instincts don't work that way).

She sure grew up a lot since then. Still, a shame the writer injected some of his or her idiotic political views into this. Or the translators or editors did.

she didn't get the promotion because view don't want to see a girl get hurt? wot? if anything, a female boss would attract a lot more view.
A female boss wouldn't attract more viewers. A hot female in a highly visible position would attract more viewers and popularity. Rather, moving her probably would get complaints sent in and likely contradicts some sort of internal practices used to maximize profit. It is a business, after all.

"But do you not detest sexism?" How is you deciding whether or not you want to be more than friends with a girl in any way "sexism"? What, if you refuse is that going to be called abuse? WTF? It is not sexist to decide that you want to accept or reject a girl's request to be your girlfriend. I get the feeling that this is not an honest translation of what was written in the original language, same for parts of the flashback that smack of feminism.
