Why does MC try to link the three factions to those gemstones? There's completely no point to it, is there?
Unless his level of thinking is along the lines of "uuumm, there's these three fack-shuns, an' I've got three shiny stones, see, so umm, them's the same, see?"
Maybe it makes more sense in the WN or LN, but here it's the most half-assed piece of expositioning I think I've ever seen. (Then again, I've started reading some pretty bad manga over the years, so I may be suppressing memories of worse.)
