Could his shovel radioactive?
Maybe the dude is immune or also a human emitting high radiation.
Instead of flinging concentrated mana to scatter on foes like dirt or energy ball.
The shovel uses.. laser beams?
Couldn't it be radioactive to easily ionize the genetic makeup of any carbon based organisms?
I would've preferred if he was smashing foes with the shovel in melee saying
"Prepared to be ionized!" with a weird Vegeta-like voice.
The laser setting just got to me, it's not even a gun..
So to shoot lasers, do he just have to point or plunge? No waving or anything?
