Just based on the first chapter or two, the premise should be workable but the execution is so bizarre. Up front we establish the reason foster father hates MC but in what universe does a hateful foster father start playing the same online game just so they can spend money to beat them doing free to play? And bragging about being a whale?

The whole thing comes off as a delusional fantasy a bullied kid came up with where he finally gets revenge and then everyone claps. But like, instead of being a good revenge story, any objective 3rd party just feels pity because even tossing in supernatural events that's just not how it works.

Edit: what could go wrong with such brilliant writing as "NOOOOO my pay to win item!"

well the main different is at least, MMO game won't let you have perm cash-item, they always either have limited use which is common for item type, or duration use like booster and outfit.
so for an item still work even after 100 years is quite something.

I dunno, the pre-shitsekai sounds like a more interesting story, in a k-drama kinda way (while it builds up to a very cliche k-drama storyline, how it comes to that is completely different: deleting savegames). We all know how post-shitsekai going anyway.

I half read this because I actually like to read trash occasionally. I'm dropping it now. The most recent chapter is dumb beyond belief and nothing good can come from this story anymore. Not even as an ironic hate read.
