I see a lot of people talking about closing it up and doing it later, and that's not a bad idea. However, to play devil's advocate: Its worth remembering that he doesn't have a way to reliably produce medicine right now. stuff like local anesthetic, and maybe even iodine is in limited supply, not to mention they'd still have to actually close him up despite the circumstances. At best, he has to go through more of his medicine supply, and at worst, something else happens while they're closing him up. Considering how close they are to finishing, and that they already need to basically be broken out of there by force, It's very reasonable to just say "f*ck it, might as well finish despite it all".
