"Tragedy" tag seems misplaced to me—But it's so short and leaves the reader to fill in so many details that I can imagine someone just interpreted it differently.

It didn't say, "human at night", it said, "human while he's sleeping"? So if he's woken up, it's right back to wolf form, and no dice, I think was the idea.
