I’m liking the MC less and less now. You’ve only been studying swordsmanship for 6 months, calm down. Of course you’re not going to be the greatest. What he said about dying young because of not being skilled enough wasn’t being rude, but helpful advice. Also, you call him rude but then go out of your way to annoy him and be down right rude. Not really acting like you want to live a long life. What if he would’ve lobbed your head for stealing his food? I would’ve!

Muscle memory isn't literally ingrained on your muscles, lol. It's basically when you do something so much that your brain basically makes a "hotkey" for certain actions and reflexes so that you can "access" them faster than thinking about it before moving. ie., being in a different body would lessen the effect (because the muscle memory would be customized to your original body's strength, speed, durability, size and all that) but the base of the muscle memory should still be there.
