Nah this is pretty Lu Bu-like.
In 3k he was basically the strongest general but also shortsighted , impatient and a bit of a coward (coward here is when compared to most big generals in 3K who are not afraid of dying for the cause , Lu Bu only value his life so he will flee the moment the odd of him winning lightly shifted) whos also petty.
He betrayed every one of his lords and despite Chen Gong’s efforts he ended up getting captured by Cao Cao and get killed anyway due to Liu Bei convincing Cao Cao of Lu Bu’s traitorous nature.

This manga's depiction of Lu Bu is pretty different from what I usually see. Never read the three kingdoms but from what I've seen he's usually more like powerful wild card. Here he is more like a scheming strategist that also happens to be really strong. But it also feels like they're trying to blend the two together sometimes and it's like he's two different characters depending on the chapter.

Good eye. He's basically playing the role of Lu Bu (himself), Chen Gong (who he killed in this manga) and Zhang Liao (who was just as smart as he was strong).

Chen Gong in this manga isn't dead, Lu Bu shot him to make the alliance lords not suspicious.
it's a shame that Zhang Liao is not in this (Hua Xiong is also missing)
