The series is finally completed.
I liked the series. The ending was alright, but I find the first half (pre-time skip) much stronger than the later half (post-time skip)
The second half has glaring pacing and size issues.
As the story progress, the plot became grander. More characters were introduced to support and justify its size. However, most of the characters' development and their motives were either neglected, forcefully explained through the excessive use of flashbacks, or just simply led to nowhere.
Several fights and development involving major characters that could have been important plot points were vastly glossed over in one or two chapters.
When characters are not properly flesh out, they became less believable. As a result, the world became bland and forgettable.
If there is a silver lining, the spear demon fight felt like the only fight that was properly developed in the second half.
