the blade will become dull for sure .....
a sword isn't good for clashing each other except for parrying, too much parrying with the sword edge will make the blade chip, except you're an expert and can parry the edge of enemy blade with your body or backside of your own blade.

Ugg I hate the movie sword fighting. Real sword fighting is over in about 2 moves unless armor is involved.
OMG the seen of MC running forward. NO swordsman would have his feet so off the ground when going for a strike. This is sooo annoying. (I know it mentions MC has poor form, but he did beat 9 others so he has to have some idea) The constant locking of blades... <eyes roll out of head>
Also, the likelihood of one/both of them being severely injured here is huge.
