.... is this guy insane?! learing the capabilities of the subordinate, testing them and whatnot should've been done before entering the uncharted territory with records of previous casualties... luring an unknown enemy is potentially dangerous for everyone on the team. these newbie's life might not be the only ones that perished, yours might as well... i mean sure youre hella pissed having to babysit newbies but the points still stands!

These so called newbies are asset too you know... endangering a potential asset would hit the guild on the long run

@namira99 well they just entered it and usually the stronger monsters are deeper in the forest so I think he believed that he needed to see how well they fight while they can measure it safely. I think it's better to test them here than leaving to latter when they can't be sure of everyone's safety. Also it's better to see how well they fight against enemys of this level.

@Shakur i understand your point but doing these stuff on the mission is still inappropriate imo... he could've ask for explanation from the higherup before embarking on the mission.. hell he could've raised complaints as well...

Guilds have structure and rules that should've been abided and followed. I simply think these petty stuff shouldve been handled beforehand and not on the go

I like the new guy, it was a test in many ways:
- test if MC would be smart and refuse the 'test' to avoid luring monsters;
- test MC strength against the tree;
- test MC against enemies;
anyway new guy is a 10 years-survivor, he's not dumb.

To the people that are complaining about the Clark Kent guy, they barely entered the middle area. There are no incredible strong enemies at the borders... And they also got 2 incredibly strong allies with them. So calm down and enjoy the show!

I'm a little shocked nobody is talking about how the first generation folks, claimed to have been as strong as current rankers the moment they passed the tutorial, just dropped a major plot point and explanation for them doing nothing.

Aslan and his pal the White Witch are apparently being watched by something that makes even the first generation incapable of moving. Also, it's apparently their fault that the world is as screwed as it is? Does that mean they caused the summons to keep happening, they caused the angels/demons to throw down, or are they perhaps to blame for something even worse? 🤔
