He loved the princess(i think) to the point of not caring for the poor people being abused and killed. If he had helped to overthrow the king then the princess would have suffered the same fate of being killed or enslaved, this must have been the reason as to why he didn t accept to help them, either way the worst still happened.

Every revolt uses the excuse of helping the “poor people who are abused”. Afterward those same poor people either stay poor or get taken to re-education camps to die. Many such tales, so sad.

@Drefeliz13 Doesn't necessarily mean a revolt wasn't needed. The teacher here seems to firmly believe he is in the right, and his student didn't even bother to rebuke his claims.

Everyone defending MC rn but the truth was, he was a dipshit. Flashback is probably him recalling an event where he was “selfish” and is probing for future character change.

As supportive as you guys are to his “loyalty” I have to say that I don’t like the current MC. Hopefully he’s able to change, and his act of not revealing his powers truly was devastating to many lives.

I’m completely on his teacher’s and the gladiator’s side for this one.

Why are gladiators being treated like shit?

Why did they fight to the death?

Werent they... super respected and only ever died in (very costly) accidents?

@beepboop1

is this sarcasm or is this your first encounter with ancient rome.

lots of people were treated like sht back then. being a gladiator isn't exactly a noble job, and usually being former slaves, lower ranking ones were treated even more brutally than depicted.
