even if they have shown him without his shirt and without muscle, its just cultural i dunno why you're even still responding when its obvious lmao. japan loves cute things, this is throughout their entire country.

More importantly, he's a magician and not any kind of warrior...there's no reason for a high school boy to be a mass of muscle...especially when he's essentially a scholar(as that's what magician types are).
