So basically Muzan was stressed out and he wanted to escape the responsibility of being the head of the family and accidentally killed both of Hatsune's parents.
@Juli0n the only revenge that could leave a wound on the most powerful magician in japan is Hatsune killing herself but the story probably won't swing that way since we still have a sequel.
