Its more like if the main heroines find out, Frey's life gets chopped in half and in thag painful manner we just saw. So if we try doing simple maths (there's probably a better way doing this): because theres 5 heroines Frey's life can be halved 5 times. And when all 5 heroines find out Frey will not only suffer a painful punishment, byt will also be left with about 1/32 of his life (2/4/8/16/32). Or if we use 100 as his base life and slap ÷2 on the calculator 5x it be about 3.125/100. So yeah... Frey is not gonna be close to saving the world if every heroine found out...

It also probably didn't activate last chapter because Kania was doubtful, but after confronting Frey she learns and saw the whole picture instead of a piece of a pizzle.

Should she consider that maybe he isn't all that bad? Can she find it within herself to accept it?

No, instead of an internal moral conflict spread out a bit, the whole things is resolved and handed to her on a silver platter.

I was really onboard with the pacing of this until this point.

You really should read the novel because a lot of stuff is being cut out, eslecially the characters inner monologues

I'm seeing a lot of posts in this comment section about why the system isn't activating even though Kania found out, but it already activated and penalized the MC in the previous chapter?

I've read the novels, so maybe I just already know something that wasn't explained in this webtoon, but haven't realized it?
