Thank fuck it seems that he only went back like a year or something. If these people were adults and they acted this stupidity…

Raises another question though. If he knew the mission from a young age, why act friendly with the heroines? Was that part of the plan to lower their guard?

Just guessing, but he saw his mission when he was ten and so far every character has remarked about the time when he was little, so it's probable they are talking about the time before he was thrown into the heroic chamber of exposition.

But then again, it's not like this story has been a bastion of clear continuity so far, so it might just be cheap drama bait that isn't tied to the timeline in any logical fashion.

His mental stat at 9.3 means it's basically impossible for his mind to get affected by any external means.
