Well, he wasn't a murderer, he was a mercenary, if it's during war or with war purposes it's not really murder.

The gods will probably classify the kingdom as a threat to be eliminated, as it seems like it could be a warmongering civ full of thousands of isekai OP heroes that actually murder innocent people.

We'll see if we go that route

He blew up an entire city, after having already escaped from those who attempted to harm him.
Innocent clueless citizens who were just going on with their daily lives. Mothers, fathers, children, probably newborns too. And not only did he not care, all he thought is that it was cool. This isn't an anti-hero protagonist, it's just a psycho with anti-social disorder most likely.
