Tiny hats and hugging mom aside, I no longer trust Sir Konrad. Asking Leslie to grant him a favour someday and not saying what it is is really ominous.
Soo the silver haired kids were the most powerfull ? But why are blonde kids threated as powerfull? Im pretty sure silver hair is more rare then pure blonde. The percentage of blonde hair in europe is freaking huge. IDK if this manga takes place in EU but you know what i mean.
@jackmiaw Because silver is an unnatural hair color to be born with, and superstitious assholes would spread rumors that the family is full of monsters if the silver haired kids lived. In the Sperado's eyes it's better to kill them and transfer the power to the more appealing blonde kid.
Also blonde/gold hair is associated with the Sun, and seen as superior to silver which would be associated with the Moon.
I feel like that blonde bitch is gonna ruin the trial for her family by blurting out that Leslie was meant to be their sacrifice and that she stole the power that was meant for her.
I can't wait to see her family fall :3
I love how the background drawing got softer. Seems like the author know how to blur the 3d models now. But that funny looking asymmetrical windows still there lolol
Hmm if those 2 boys are also apart of sperado family. That means they're leslie's uncles right? But none of them are born with silver hair so none of them would be sacrificed. Now then, where have they gone to?? Killed? Exiled? Abandoned??
Seems out of character for Leslie, who was abused all her life, to so freely hug the Duchess. You would think she would act more formal towards someone she respects so much. She can't call her "mother" but doesn't hesitate to hug and sit in her lap? At this point the author is just throwing character consistency out the window for fluffy fanservice.
@Mr_Stizblee i don't think Konrad is planning something ominous. from how i see it, Konrad simply doesn't think she owes him any favour just for being a good listener, however he knows she's the type who would feel indebted anyway. I think saying he'll ask her for a favour in the future is his own way to reassure her to not feel indebted so much. it's like a "of course if i ever need help, i'll ask you" kind of thing
Well after I posted that all this time ago someone who reads the light novels revealed to me that Konrad is
Not evil. I still think that Konrad betraying Leslie and becoming the real main villain would make a much more interesting story but oh well. It's not my story.
