So the Uncle gave a hint of a possible escape route she would use if put in that dungeon in their wine cellar.
So obviously she will get kidnapped by her father and put into that dungeon, then she will remember the letter from her uncle and escape.

@Mai_loves_icecream I think that she hasn't yet realized that the "contract" became irrelevant quite some time ago—it mattered perhaps on day one, but some time along the way (if ever), the Duchess tossed it in favor of full adopting her as the daughter she never got. Now, Leslie won't get to leave unless she wants to, and even then, she will still be their daughter/sister. Heh.

I was a little disappointed at the lack of the familial fuzzy meltdown when she called them all by familial title, but I guess that was cuz of a time shift and that she'd done it before. Either way—I cried.

When the sperm donor pulls a last ditch hammerthrow of evil, my guess will be that he'll either kidnap his ex-daughter or blackmail her by threatening to murder/capture her uncle, or something ghastly in order to do it. Something truly NASTY to get her to come. Though, kidnapping is probably no. 1.

Beyond that, the bit with the uncle was beautiful and truly moving (emotionally). I got Gator tears. 😭😭😭👌🏽
