Omniessence left a note 2 months ago on chapter 112 of Living With My Brother's Wife that they are dropping that series and this one due to them getting official English translations. Other series is almost caught up with where translations left off at the time of writing this. But volume 1 for this series looks to be coming out 09/2023, so it'll be a while before we catch up to the raws unless someone else picks up

Ngl, i do like the series. But the overly dramatization of some scenes kind of take away the actual tone of some moments. It gets really dark and suddenly really bright. Does the author was used to write only thrillers or something?

It's to represent the fact that she was 'wounded' in the past by what other people said to her. Hence the wound. The principle of old wounds being re-opened. So it's not a physical wound but a mental one.
