Even though she is working hard to change the image, there's plenty of people still firmly convinced of her evil side up until then. Why does she keep worrying about being like her game self?! There is no sign that the story is controlling her actions or self correcting itself to follow the game path, wo why is she worried?!
So the story can happen. Why does she keep worrying about being like her game self?! There is no sign that the story is controlling her actions or self correcting itself to follow the game path, wo why is she worried?!
Because she is Pryde. She has the last boss cheat skills that made Pryde a challenging opponent. If you think about it, she's in a situation of being placed inside a game world as a specific, extremely important character and incidents keep occuring like they did in the game. How could she not be worried? She already noted in this chapter that she could have ordered the execution of a man without feeling anything too much about it. While she's not behaving now like the original, demonic Pryde, she feels like the circumstances will possibly push her into it, and it will be beyond her control. Why does she keep worrying about being like her game self?! I think those she's mentioned that to are too blinded by their current view of her as the best queen-to-be ever. Otherwise, yeah, it seems like it'd be obvious. With Pryde having a much richer ability of Prophecy compared to her mother, and her handing out ominous warnings about her own future-self left and right, at least one person has to be able to figure out what she's afraid of slap some sense into her, right?
Thats bad writing though, like they could easily have had it so that shes somewhat forced to follow the events wiout her control or something. By having her have free will this just reeks of tropey mess.So the story can happen.
Also to note she isn't reincarnated so much as gained memories from her life part way into it so it's like a meld of the 2 ego's.Because she is Pryde. At the end of the day, if a normal, especially young, civilian from a modern democracy is made the heir of an absolute monarchy, it should feel quite daunting. Absolute monarchies are a form of dictatorship. Think about how dictatorships work in RL. They always have human rights issues and corruption. It's inherent to totalitarian systems. Once she's the queen, she will hold the lives and deaths of the citizens in her hands, and she will, absolutely, need to put that power to use at times. That's the point where she should be the most afraid of finding out she's really Pryde.
He is the Golum of this story and has important role to play (just a guess)Sorry to say this but forgiving and freeing an almost-mass-murderer and criminal just because "he wished to live" is just unimaginable and stupid. Like, I understand its just a story so anything can be written but this is just pure nonsense
Slave contract means he can't defy the country authorities anymore anyway. She's like his parole officer, except he actually magically has to give a fuck about what the parole officer has to say.Sorry to say this but forgiving and freeing an almost-mass-murderer and criminal just because "he wished to live" is just unimaginable and stupid.
