Okay so the predictable outcome is that lloyd is just gonna try to kill or set up the mc to die while they are in a quest. The second most predictable outcome is he makes it looks like mc was stealing extra money (forgot the term for when someone in a business does it) or just make the mc look like he was double crossing them in general. The third outcome which i would prefer is lloyd just straight up tells the mc to piss off and he’d rather not risk establishing their own guild if they could safely join another. This is just my thoughts on what could happen next.

Either he doesn't like that our guy is issuing commands and sounding more like the leader OR for some odd reason he just wants to keep things small, just barely getting by for him is enough and he doesn't want our dude disrupting their peace???

All in all I think he should move to a different party if there's no indication of them improving. They don't seem to have ambition or drive. They're more focus in stroking their egos by appearing all noble that actually true seekers.

Makes a lot of sense as to why he'd be opposed to it. like jesus, they almost died in their recent quest. sure, it was a rank higher than them. but they still almost died from a B-rank quest. and if they were to promote, B-rank quests would seemingly be the norm. And they wont get off scott free every time. So i agree to staying as a party instead of a clan. I hope that the leader thinks like this istead of the typical "this man is a threat to my possission, so I should kill him".

@Elyursi are you braindead? He himself said that his class has no special skills for combat and he even said that teamwork would be his strongest asset. So why would he trow away his biggest strength to go solo?

I think Llyod is just pissed that a newcomer suddenly has a ton of control in his party that he leads. Sure, Noel's Talker buffs definitely is a boost to their fighting capabilities, but outside of combat Lloys IS the party leader. He should be the one making calls on quests, expansion, and what not, but right now Noel is calling the shots in and out of battle, and that just doesnt sit right with him.
