After this fight I feel like everything would be simpler if he tells them the truth and asks them to keep his stupidly high power a secret. It seems like they would be the type to not spread secrets and rumors around. Though if people found out he'd likely be chased until he "signs up" to one of the kingdoms' royal knights or something.
