Oh, this is definitely a story from the Heisei era. I don't seem to see tentacle monster bondage fanservice scenes happening on female characters as often as they used to anymore in Reiwa era manga. It even has the typical clothes-only melting acid touch, lol.

Princess is way too cool to scream like a damsel in distress while entangled, subverting the trope. I like her strong personality, although she is not above embarrassment at the thought of getting seen naked after the danger is over. A bit of gap moe, I guess.

The bigger problem is what the people in the palace would think seeing her return with her clothes in that state. And there's Schnee's rescue party even before that. That's possibly worse, although I've never ever seen Schnee get visibly jealous before.
