I wonder what really was that thing he fought? We spent so much screentime on it and there was not even a shred of info on the thing, that's possibly not even a monster but a construct of the labyrinth. It's like the story is telling me that thing was completely unimportant and was only there to buy more time to delay his reunion with Schnee.
Princess is definitely falling for him, alright. I guess it's useless to hope against a harem now, because unofficially there is one already. Tiera, Lyonne, Celica and perhaps even Cilica all like him as a man to various degrees. Well, I'll let Lyonne have her moment this time, it's not like she's got a real chance against Schnee.
Can't even pair any of these fine ladies not named Schnee with a different but decent guy like Wil, because most likely he'll get paired up with Rashia if side ships are gonna exist in this story.
Honestly to me this feels like the weakest arc so far, like it's merely serving to delay or put the brakes on development between Shin and Schnee by keeping them apart again, and the princess serves as this convenient potential haremette who'll do just that. This chapter is technically about some monster raid event, but it feels so inconsequential I just can't bring myself to say anything about it.
