Dude is understandable wanting an adaptation for a work such as this, but you can't be serious about a MotoMusu anime adaptation while calling the other work dogshit, discarded works shouldn't even be considered for one, the Novel for that ain't going anywhere anymore and the manga is having scheduling problems due to the artist being ill

Imagine being this jealous over a popular LN/Manga getting an adaptation over your picks, works like Raising Kids are just aimed to be comfort shows and it achieved that, is not that deep, is the same with stuff like Fluffy Paradise
Yeah, beside, slice of life, "healing" fluffy genre type work is always been prominent and popular in japanese anime/manga culture, it always has it's place and has been always present in every season.

How was Remi able to get away with lying to Angel at the beginning of the chapter? It's arguable that she's never 'heard' about what if she has only read about it in Emi's memories, but she explicitly said 'no' when asked if she knew the implications. Angels dialogue with Klimt makes it seem like he didn't notice anything either, so does Remilia know a way to trick Angels lie detection?
Translation issue maybe.
From what I remembered, she is saying something like she never heard that before.
And technically, no one ever told her that.
She got spoiler from Emi memory.

The specifics of 'I have never HEARD of it' is true, while that she didn't know of it would be a lie. It's not a lie, because the wording is very specific.

Most likely that's the opposite of a translation error, as it's very precise use of words.

Either it's because Angel needs to consciously invoke that ability, or Remilia is getting through technicalities.

Remilia said she hasn't heard of any significance of that action. Which is true, no one has told her anything. It's only because she has innate knowledge through Emi that she is aware of the subtext.

Edit: Ninja'd. But the point is that Remilia is being very specific with her word choice to ensure that she is telling technical truths.

Not so much an evil villainess as she is a shrewd and cunning manipulator. It's all dependent on the motivations. In the OG timeline she had nothing but revenge pushing her no matter the cost which would bring everyone ruin, she was on her own with no one but herself, so naturally she'd be selfish and wish everyone else's ruin. In this timeline it is the same, but she's doing it all for Emi's sake. Emi had such an impact on her for loving her for who she was, that it gave a heartless Remilia something to strive for. She was also just content being a bystander in her own head, watching Emi was enough… until bitchtits came along and ruined it.
"Emi established me as a young lady with the notable reputation of the Duke's daughter. I, Remilia Rose Graupner, will not commit as grave a mistake as falling for this."

A nature vs nurture argument. It's in Remilia's nature to be a fantastic schemer with a sadistic streak, but given a just cause and a healthy upbringing (through Emi's memories) she can turn that talent for good.
EXACTLY this. Remilia is not a GOOD person, she probably is some level of a sociopath by her nature. But Emi was a VERY good person, and her only friend and loved one. She spent her time feeling love for the first time from someone who honestly wanted her to have a happy and good life.

And once Emi had her nervous breakdown because she was abused despite all her hard work and good behavior, Remilia is doing her very hardest to make sure the world Emi WANTED to achieve would still happen.

She is a villain, but a villain who's true goal is avenging her spiritual sister, and making a better world she dreamed of living in. Because evil is not the same as destructive.

I get everyone's hype, but do we really have any doubt of what's going to happen after chapter 2 or so? Everything Remilia has planned since the beginning of the story went perfectly for her. I'm just having fun with the other characters' funny/dumb/shocked reactions, really
At least when I first read this, I thought it was clear that this wasn't going to be a "will she get a revenge" story but instead a "how marvelous will her revenge be" story.

And I have been waiting with bated breath for Pina to realize the Sword of Damocles has fallen and nothing she can do can stop it.

So they didnt secretly apply the antidote, just straight up got everyone to drink it and told them what it was. Using the healing fruit made it too tempting to avoid, and checking is easy enough after the fact.

I knew this series is the type of 'serve you right' aka face slapping one but mannn i wish they have smarter ori! (anti-)heroine...

Having most of ppl a "victim" of brainwash also feels.... weird.
It's come up a couple times before, but it's not brainwashing in the sense that they couldn't disobey Pina, but instead they just really liked her no matter what. If Pina told them to go rob a bank they could easily say no, but they might feel bad that they let her down and certainly wouldn't think less of her for asking them to do something illegal.

That's why Remilia is so confident earlier in the chapter. Even if everything went wrong somehow and Angel got charmed and fell madly in love with Pina, Remilia knew that he is too dedicated to the well-being of his people to turn on his benefactor.

Sorry for the ninja edit, but I just wamted to correct the part where I ambiguously said that Remilia's knoweledge is from her past life instead of Emi's memories, the rest of my post and the main crux of my argument was unaltered. Either way, I'd argue that it still warrants a lie because she was directly asked "are you aware of the implications" and said "NO, I haven't heard anything". Even if she wasn't lying about 'hearing' anything, she still lied by saying 'no' because she is fully aware of the implications

As proven by the "heroine", it's mostly a matter of state of mind.
Remilia truly believed that she answered the truth... as very narrowly tailored as it is... so the eyes of the demon king didn't react.
The wording is not as important as the self-perception that you're telling the truth.
