She's a (mostly) cold survivalist and is currently on an assassination mission. She's neither "all sweet and innocent" nor "a monster causing disharmony to feast on", she's a badass who's decided to say "fuck you" to the original plot that the transmigrator showed her (partially because she doesn't like the idea of being forced to follow the narrative, partially because she considers it a pile of bullshit).
No idea whether she's using some kind of spell or ability (hell, it could even be some sort of drug or poison). She does have good poison resistance though (because assassin training), so that's why their drug isn't working.

Since this wont be explained-ish until the end of CH21: As i said, she got to this point by using a mix of the flirtation methods of That Woman's Memories and the stories of how Serjura seduced Miranda (havent met her yet). Kill Method is a Mammal Infecting Neuro-corrosive aerosol, Aria is maybe high as a kite on the antidote while shes doing this since she unusually chatty. Also shes smashing Insect Lures along the way.

Wait, that's the MC? It's been 7 months since the last chapter so I'd forgotten what was going on and I remembered her look as a short haired assassin. I'd assumed this was new people setting up the next arc but rereading the last chapter does rather explain why the pretty, innocent light mage is not all she seems and why the short haired assassin wasn't in the chapter.

it would be more obvious if this was in color since shes not wearing the Ashcrown illusion during this and we havent been introduced to her family beyond her grandpa in the manga yet.

granted the Ashcrown illusion isnt introduced in the manga, but shes still supposed to for the next 7 novels be running around with grey hair after this assassination. Also if she has short hair her hair is just in a ponytail and shoved down her shirt

Yup, that's MC. Might be a good idea to go back and reread a few chapters since you seem to have forgotten a bit. Do you remember who her teacher is? If not then you should probably reread from just after the defeat of the corrupted water spirit (pretty sure that's at the end of one of the volumes).

its the vows the Princess and Pink make to eachother. its more obvious in the novels and when Alicia and Elaina meet back up

Its not Romance or GL because its actual love, its not infatuation or flirting.
