They threatened her mother figure.

That's it. Now they ALL need to die.
It's somewhat amusing that the side story of Cere'zhula's reflecting on Alia got a double helping with the manga in the form of a bonus written short story so there's essentially three renditions of the same thing. It really cements the author's intent that for Alia, this is the closest thing she had as a home after being made an orphan and for Cere'zhula, she sees Alia as more akin to a daughter than as just a disciple.

....Can someone remind me why she is going against the entire guild? I only recall some members trying to haze her / being needlessly hostile towards her. But that's a member-by-member basis, not the entire organization.
And by lord almighty, I also don't recall the MC being blackmailed by anything.

I need an arc summary.. :v
Dino shows up to Cere'zhula's hut, drops an ultimatum on her for her to assassinate a level 4 adventurer group that's gone underground after absconding with the subject of a retrieval quest. Cere'zhula is not in peak physical condition due to being overloaded with four elemental affinities and past her prime on account of having been a very active participant in the war between demonfolk and humanity that further exacerbated her condition. If she didn't accept, he threatened to out her location to the nearby human settlements and additionally threatened the safety of her new disciple; Alia. Given her situation, there's a high chance that Cere'zhula will die in the attempt to carry out the hit.

To Alia, Dino made himself an obstacle to her way of life, and waved the fact that he'll use his organisation to back his threats. That is reason enough to exterminate every single one of them. Threatening Cere'zhula is just another nail in the coffin as Alia instinctually trusts Cere'zhula enough that she'll drop her permanently raised guard and actually sleep in a bed like a normal person. The entire branch has been marked to be exterminated. Any opportunity to off the bigger fish individually is an opportunity to decrease the overall difficulty of wiping out the lot of them when the fascade drops so while their individual actions towards her might not otherwise be reason enough to turn them into exp, she was going to kill them anyhow so might as well take them up on the offer.

I'm going to assume she lit the old abandoned coal mine on fire and going to smoke them out and cause some panic topside, making it easier for her to selectively destroy the members. What's even better is that there's very low chance that the other assassin guild branches will retaliate against her for this as it seems like she made sure they have nothing to pin anything against her.

It's simply her MO. She's not a heavy fighter; she's a scout/light fighter or assassin. She can't take on multiple opponents at the same time who are above her in physical specs, so she needs to use poison and every dirty trick available to cull the field as much as possible while giving herself as much of an advantage as possible.

She's plugged the ventilation holes, filled the entire underground area with paralytic poison, and on top of that she's going to use fire to put another threat that her targets need to contend with. If you are poisoned, disoriented due to the poison and smoke, have the threat of an underground fire as well as the threat of asphyxiation AND you have someone who is absolutely hell bent on killing you while you have zero idea how she fights; well, you've got a shit hand.

She honestly doesn't care about whether or not the deed gets pinned to her. As far as she's concerned, let them come. It's nice to have exp bundles come to you.

Chuck Norris and Aria-chan were trapped in an underground, vents sealed-off, tunnel.....
Aria-chan allowed Chuck Norris to breathe in the poison. Chuck Norris was thankful.

Aria makes a good point at the end there.
Also those guys are supposed to be "professional assassin" but from what i see, they are not "pro", they are just maniac serial killers that a bit stronger than normal people. (well maybe except the guild master)

So, TLDR to those who want it:
Assassin guild master guy threatened the MC's demon / whatever benefactor / teacher implicitly, so the MC played along with him by taking his jobs, while marking the entire guild for destruction based on a higher up's implicit threat to mobilize the entire guild to take her out; someone she cares for.

Cheers.
