she does have a daddy complex, and its not exactly obvious that shes a devout lesbian until MUCH later. were only in book 2 atm and at current material pacing, wont be to book 5 for like, a decade. Hell shes still with her best friend in the RAWs

what do you mean ends up? Shes already had her wedding in the comic. As i went over in other posts here, Alicia is romantic, but shes not infatuated or lusting after her wife, she purely loves her.

depends: does Aria Ironrose learning the dance steps for male waltzes from, and through Princess Elena count, because that is the most physically intimate they get before Cinderella of Slaughter ends. Book 6 is also their honeymoon, but the most intimate thing there is Alicia gives Elena her white underwear because they are teleported 4,000 miles to a desert, and she has to teach Elena how to put on and wear a chainmail G-string. People who dont catch that Alicia loves Elena hate book 6 because she doesnt act as Tiny-Pink-Lesbian-Kratos the whole book like she does with the rest of the series.

My general opinion is that, while Alicia is unarguably a lesbian, the series isnt a romance because there are no romantic overtures in an explicit sense. everything is subtext, contextual, or behavior implications that point to one specific answer. Alicia goes out of her way to support her wife, and her wife responds like you would expect a loving spouse to react in the face of tragedy involving Alicia. they trust, care, and depend on eachother. its actually a lovely relationship. Its just that the relationship is handled in a way that even Girl's Love is too intimate a tag.
