This has been roundly set up as the basic conflict between those two sisters, that the older one keeps taking the younger one's girls and that the younger one is insecure about herself in the face of the elder to the extent that she asks for nothing more of those she likes than for them to not end up with her older sister.

Sono is no saint and was actually coming their way with her fling too. It could also be a trick and their lips didnt touch but it doesnt really matter since Mitsuki let it happen and Sono will see what her sister wanted her to see.

Exactly. Like people don't know now what they are getting into when the series even opened with angsty drama in the first place. Why do these people even read manga if they are just going to complain about every turn a story takes?

I can understand that, somewhat. However not for this story. The sister was already hinted at being an issue, pretty much from her introduction. This story didn't start out fluffy, it started with our MC catching Sono making out with a "friend," then being awkwardly propositioned and having some clear issues around it. There was always the promise of a deeper plot besides cute blushes and cuddles. In reality this may not turn out to be much anyway. It's a bit early to describe it as unnecessary when it hasn't even played out. Sono clearly has some hangups (especially with her sister) and that has to be dealt with no? It just sometimes feels like "drama" is being used as a pejorative and I don't know when that started happening.

Agree with that, I never stated that the drama that’s happening here feels unnecessary for that reason. Sister has been established as a character before this and we know there’s some issue between the sisters so this is one of the main plot lines.

On the note of drama we’ve had a bit too many that out of nowhere introduces a new character and they do something like this as soon as they appear, which only purpose is to create conflict and interrupt the main events. It feels so artificial and unnatural when the character hasn’t existed beforehand.
