I mean the MC was saved by some celestial goddess BECAUSE he was a good person and risked his life to protect the spirit familiar (and I guess his childhood friend). So he personally has benefited from good people (and fortune).

Well I actually forgot the first chapters. I need to re-read them.
But I actually was surprised by the MC discussing of good and bad after being kidnapped and forced in an evil sect.

Even in a evil sect if you go and kill your friends, the guy won't last long with those ideals...well at least he showed his true colors, better than backstabbing.

The MC might be a bit naive but this guy show no mercy and all those attacks can actually killed him.
Come on it is a common sense to hold back those deadly attacks when sparing .
This guy have got totally obsessed with strength. That he totally forgot that he fighting a friend.
