Yeah, but that doesn't justify it. If anything, I hope that she gets a blow to the ego like doing something so vile that the ML slaps her. Or even insists on using an aphrodisiac when having sex with her because he can't get it up for her unless he's drugged. Make her know that the man she loves to such a hateful degree is that disgusted with her.

Her refusal to hear his story is basically defensive instinct out of fear.
Of either a crushing heartbreak from hearing that he loved another woman (not true) or the extreme embarrassment when it turns out she's been misunderstanding what that ring meant (if there's another reason he has it anyway)
Because until now, or even now, her enemies would exploit any 'weakness' she show.
So everything she do is under the tyrant's facade.
If he's seen as just a boytoy whose only value is appearance, nobody would think about kidnapping him.
But if they know she's crazy in love with him? That's a big ticket ransom hostage right there.

Predatory really describes their relationship perfectly. I like how the narrative doesn't excuse her actions, we see that from her point of view she's doing something despicable willing... so many titles have the ML be a total pos but "hey he have a sad backstop so it's all good" that is interesting to see a self aware character in this position.
I don't know how to feel about Ezekiel's submissiveness; I expected him to be non-confrontational, but not being conflicted about the whole situation is downright uncanny.

someone's being sneaky sneaky stealing Ezekiel's ring while they're going at it.. and i think it's not that she has a dumptruck but rather it's her coat being puffed around the waist and having volume yk what i mean? and Ezekiel's is somehow a name that really fits the ml idk why but it's beautiful lmao

Fl suffered a lot in the past and seems to have PTSD. I don't pity those who tormented her and her mother.
They deserved it. However, her current state is unstable. She is like a mad dog.
