It starts off relatively strong if you accept the MC's obsessive personality, but by later in the WN I felt it wasn't worth it. In the long run, the male lead and especially 2ML have personalities defined by their mental health issues like attachment and possessiveness. Which gets uncomfortable for me even if the ML is more like a sad puppy than a menace. It's mild for that fetish but it's still the main course and not for me, and other story elements are appetizers at best.
The extended cast and the worldbuilding felt mostly unimportant. Only a few of the interactions with the original romance cast matter in the end, the rest are either repetitive or should be enjoyed like a slice of life element. The Black Knights and steampunk tech don't matter often, and don't matter much. Drones and 4K cameras existing are reasonable for the setting, that's all.
While it's fine, unless you find obessiveness a thrill I recommend not reading. The parts I liked were the parts that were let-downs. Black Knights and steampunk, chainsaw girl's bit part, having the bland original main three female leads actually choose their own moves (childhood friend knight, ambitious saint, mage with a secret), intrigue beyond be nice to X dutchess and tell bro to f off
Thank you for the translation, though I won't read this adaptation.
