I don't think people give enough credit to Pozuka Demizu.
When the story became absolutely infuriating to read, her visuals remained uniquely captivating. She 100000% saved this series from being a total loss.
It's just a shame the anime ruined the reputation of the series as a whole. Who knows, maybe it will pull a Bleach TYBW in 10 years time and everyone will love it again.
