Pretty good series, definitely could have ended completely rather than just ended the season though. Only real gripe I have was that it never developed what happened to the other two main assassins.

There were plenty of storyline flaws - for example how MC magically acquired energy strings and became a master of the secret arts of both sects. And also why he went ahead with the original assassination when he knew they were not the sect responsible for his kidnapping. No logic there. These flaws are glaring, and yet the momentum of the action combined with the amazing artwork made up for all of that. A very fun read in the end. Btw, I was glad the youngest disciple of the witch lady survived. She was the only major player who wasn’t insanely pursuing power at any cost.
