Later on she got kidnap by a dragon king to be his bride.
During her short stay with him she learned she's of "Heaven" element. (not holy 聖, this 天)

Though after she escaped and he got on a rampage fearing she'd remain away from him.
A big rock drop to get him back to sanity later, and he's fine letting her roam free because he does not want her to hate him. So 'for now' this prince can have her.

Then back at the capital the king is going all evil 'hah, with this little girl's power we can RULE THE CONTINENT!' and plan to make her the prince's fiancee just so they have a way to manipulate her around, after all she's rather attached to him.

He's got kinda mom-zoned right now.

Like when after they got her back from the dragon king.
He told her essentially that she should only marry someone if she's happy about it, not out of duty or whatever.

She's like "omg, he's thinking about my future, THAT'S SO LIKE MOM"

He himself is rather tsundere about his feelings toward her, but in the way that everyone else can easily tell and think "well...good luck getting her to notice you"
