I feel that pain. I have organized events myself for role-playing groups like playing Dungeons and Dragons where no one showed. Unfortunately, I didn't have the luxury of letting out the disappointment because although no one showed up for my event there was still people around and I didn't want to make a scene. I had to distract myself with something to keep my mind off that no one showed.
