And after doing the shooting stunt, it's almost like you want her to fear you… like what the institution, your enemy, is trying to do.

Honestly, your approach made the black hats seem more undesirable than anything else. The point of appealing is to make your side seem better than your enemy's side. This is basic communication 101. What you're doing is like if you were to appeal to your boss about this product of yours, but shame them for caring about their dead mom.

This concept is really great, but the characters are so frustrating. I really hope that the MC becomes a grey hat hacker. Powerful enough to work for her own desires and beat up anyone in her way and resilient enough to not succumb to other forces.
