Venom goes deep into the layer between the skin and the muscle and it spreads out right away (within a minute of the bite). Therefore it's impossible to suction out venom, and attempts just increase pain and damage unnecessarily.

First, the bacteria in the mouth can enter the wound making it worse.

Second, if you manage to suck the poison out, there's a possibility you can swallow it. While ingesting it won't kill you, there's a chance it enter your bloodstream trough a small wound in your mouth or throat.

Really, the best solution is to administer the anti-venom as soon as possible.
