Why does everyone have a semi automatic Gewehr 41/43? Its not the 1940s! xD

This series' world is a mix of WWI and WWII technologies and doctrines. Rephrasing, lore-wise, everything is correct. They used V-1 some chapters before, you should be more surprised by that.

Seans was already from the most senior troops at the start of the story and still being alive now means he's pretty much a total badass.

So, the french are using WW1 inferior tanks, with roughly 8 milimeter frontal armour (Barely capable of protecting against .30cal's), while our glorious Empire is armed with Panzer 3's and
Panzer 2 C's (Probably different model)? The Panzer 2 has, I think, 25 milimeter front armour, and uses a autocannon that'll turn tanks into cheese.

Edit: They seem to also be using a WW2 tank, albeit slower (Faster on the reverse, I'll have you know) and a worse cannon.

@PerfectDeath technology develops differently in different worlds. In our world a lot of the Military's didn't see the benefit of machine guns and automatic weapons due to heat problems for 1. A lot of the first machine guns were water cooled. It wasn't until a military dude wanted to put mgs on planes. Magic exists in the manga, flight mages are faster than planes, they are smaller, quiet, more maneuverable. War produces technology really really fast even if it is a bit janky at first. I don't know if the industrial revolution advanced us at such a rate.

I still don’t get it. How did the court judge in favor of Tanya? There should be more reason than it being above their authority to judge.

@CheerTheDead See the look on the judge's face with sweat. It can only possibly mean that the judge might have been threatened or ordered by the brass to let it go. Or the judge himself couldn't let tanya be guilty cause Tanya has done a lot of achievements, she's just a kid and note that it is not really advisable thinking inside the box. If they executed her they would gain a major loss on their side. Either way he wouldn't be able to overturn it since all sorts of elements are interfering. If they were to punish her it would only be for formalities. Also, why does it feel like there are deathflags for those greenhorn mages?

@CheerTheDead

Military Court and it was pretty clear in Chapter 27 alone that Tanya would be found not guilty or if she did just a slap on the wrist
