I've kinda got over my initial disappointment at the manga by this stage (the start was really weirdly paced and failed to explain nor demonstrate anything adequately), but I still find it to be an inferior experience to the anime, which was wonderfully well done (if rather too short).

The constant re-use of the misunderstanding joke and the goofy cartoon animals really does ruin the tone of the manga.

Erm, you mean fujoshi? The hell's fushojis? Also there's no grammatical plural in Japanes, and since we use romaji, you can't add 's'...

And yeah, I know about them... It was a joke since most of TA is male, so they're not interested in male chars.
