Couldn't sell her potions because of the difference in performance, when the difference was significantly better? The real reason is that they couldn't disturb the market. There would be a constant demand for healing potions, so there's no way her potions wouldn't disappear in no time, but apparently their bureaucracy is so stiff they can't charge more for potions of 50% higher effect. Thus if they sold them as normal potions for the same price, soon everybody would only want those 50% better potions, it becoming the new standard, and the older regular low-grade potions would suddenly be inferior potions. That would cause problems for all the other potion makers. At this point even a child would say just make her potions a bit more expensive, but apparently it's no can do because of reasons.

what kind of country won't have enough storage room for health supplies? You can never have enough recover items during war...

Well, I can understand the storage issue if the potions can go bad over time. If she's using more ingredients than she needs to to make potions that will never even get used, it'd be natural to want her to stop making so many. If that's not the case, then yes they should just find more space, Her potions are more effective, so emergencies like this would have a higher demand for her work than the other researchers.

Holy fuck just create a new grade for her potions, call them +1 (Low Grade Potion+1) or whatever the fuck.
Unless they start selling improvements of the current highest grade potions it wont really disturb the market or raise much attention.

You'd think there would be a higher demand than can be satiated (whole supply of the research institute used on a single failed expedition LOL), but assuming that's not the case, how about opening a free clinic or something that treats people on the spot with potions close to expiring?
Healthy citizens are working citizens, working citizens are taxpaying citizens. Assuming they're using an income based tax, which might not be guaranteed. But then that's an entirely new issue.

But I guess these things aren't allowed to be under consideration unless it's a seinen.

Another possible reason that the MC making too many potions is a problem is that they probably have to maintain stocks of several different potions (HP, MP, status cures, etc.) So maybe they have enough room/ingredients/bottles for 100 potions and need around 50 HP potions, 40 MP potions, and 10 potions that cure status conditions . If the MC got carried away and made 100 HP potions that would be a problem.

that have overlapping ingredients. Like if rosemary is needed for both HP potions and status heals,

@midorika It's just a poor understanding of English Grammar as far as I can ascertain. The TL probably just isn't a native speaker. Mind, I'm still grateful for the effort!
