It's really not that good at all, story is okay and kind of genetic but the MC really drags this into the ground.
He wants to become a scholar (which he is talented in) but his family is against it since he is their only son of six kids so they want him to learn martial arts (which he is also talented in) but, instead of I don't know doing both he kind of just does neither. Yeah he is passionate in scholarship but ingores the actual privileges he has to even learn it and proceeds to ignore all martial arts he has to learn.
Like I get that you should let your kids choose their own path but in the world of the story where human life is cheap and death is everywhere the MC should learn enough to defend himself but doesn't. He is the luckiest person who ever existed but still does absolutely nothing with his luck. The whole time I read I was wondering if you would run from home since he hates martial arts so much but instead just stays and drags the story.
I stopped at chapter 23 cause it's just painful to read, no real development in the MC and still he doesn't really focus on anything he os actually talented in. Instead he focuses on a dream that barley makes any sense.
