@Manganime Well, it doesn't look like she planned for the daughter or anything. It just sort of happened, and because it was a bad time to raise her at that specific age, she temporarily left her at an institute.
She chose the option that was best for her and her family. It was a few short years because she didn't want to cause a burden to her family.
I mean, so what if she wasn't in her life? She left the child with everything she financially needs and still got her back when she was young so that she could have a good family life.
Many families leave their kids with relatives and stuff until they are ready to take care of the kid. It's not that unusual and honestly, it's best for the child themselves.
We have this modern thought that a parent should always be there with the child and spend time with them... but that's actually quite recent... parents spending little time with their kids is kinda the norm in human history with children often spending much more time with other children.
In fact, children socializing with other children was viewed as much more important than them spending time with their parents and people in the community would be looking after the kids.
We are now in a more individualistic immediate family type of culture... but if you think about it... that is actually weird...
