There's lot of "horror" and y'know the adult kind of manga that sure include suicide forest in their story. But unlike this light-hearted manga you should not check those manga out if you didn't want to be traumatized

And if I remember there's a lot of references of this forest in hunter x hunter.. because this forest is very dangerous and they have lot of hunters that hunt people and animals.. basically that's how Togashi got his inspiration from..
