How the fuck did she read the message from Banri, exit the chat with her, enter the "Daughters" chat and only then start responding? This couldn't be a coincidence...
When the list of your chats is sorted in reverse chronological order, then another chat may suddenly jump upwards exactly when you tap the topmost one.

That's how her private chat with Banri was the topmost after having received a message from Banri, but she entered the chat with all the sisters (because this chat suddenly became the topmost) though intended to reenter her chat with Banri.

Minami was a bit distressed and thus could have not noticed the difference between the chats until too late.

This mechanics also serves as an explaination for the unsent message being noticed. The sisters' chat suddenly became the topmost in the reverse chronological order precisely because someone was messaging there in that very moment. Having posted her own message, that someone (Kotoko) most definitely stayed in the chat for a while and waited for a reply — and that is exactly why there's just no way that conveniently “no one saw it, right?” when another message is sent to the same chat erroneously in a quick succession to her own.

Messengers are actually creative in countering such mistakes. Some of them offer a setting for users that may change the background of a chat and thus makes it more unique (and not to be confused with any of the other chats).

Except she had Banri's chat already opened on the 21st page, she didn't need to change anything to respond to her. That means that to enter "Daughters" GC (group chat), she had to manually leave Banri's chat and then enter into the GC herself.

The GC also didn't receive any new messages, as we can see that the last message was at 14:33.

Yeah, it really was.

By showing that timestamp the author answered the question “how the fuck did she…” with a simple “she just did, ok?” for real.

Damn.

Just like the time I accidentally posted hentai in a normie Pokémon Go chat due to being super tired. That was an insanely fast delete

Excuse me? How the fuck did she read the message from Banri, exit the chat with her, enter the "Daughters" chat and only then start responding? This couldn't be a coincidence...
This is exactly what I wanted to post in this chapter, out of all the stuff that happened so far... this was the most plot twisting BS. She was just reading a private message and replied basically right away, how is she on another convo totally unrelated and somehow coincidentally just at the right place to start another plot conflict? Hate this kind of laziness with writing :T and I don't even have to read the next chapter to even guess that Kotono or Seiha will have read that message "coincidentally" to start some kind of fight between them e-e

EDIT: I was wrong, it wasn't the next chapter, it was literally last pages after that to show that Kotono read it coincidentally =-=
