I hate it when authors make a story about a character discovering their own freedom then take away their agency. MC literally got enslaved and robbed by this necromancer because they just happened to bump into each other on the road, and he doesn't even care! In fact, he even tried to save her! He has an actual goal (avenging Rubia and meeting succubus) which he will not be able to if he's kept as a pet by this random woman, but he isn't trying to escape. He should be doing everything he can to get killed in this fight so he can reset to before and keep the absorb power.
