He pretty much needs to reset now before anything happens that prevents him from reseting back to the start, BUT even if he does he still lacks the strength and she will still be in a lot of danger. In a way it may be best for him to go with isaacs plan for now and get the lulium since he can take that back with him when he resets. In fact, it would be best if he betrayed his allies and took ALL of the lulium and then killed himself to reset back to the start. With that much power he would stand far better odds against these 'new' powerful enemies fueled by a ton of lulium. He also needs to find that female necromancer again to find out what she knows and to get a power up for those skills. Raising an army of the undead to fight the other nation would be OP and she may know a way to raise his skill level faster.

@everpink tbh chances are he'll reset on the time where he meet the new girl, or somewhere before that, until he finishes her route.


like how he resets on during the time in the cave with the Rena and the next area where he would keep resetting in the time before he met the necromancer. seems like meeting a new heroin forces him to stick to her until he finished a route and considering she's the only known heroin that is alive cause the necromancer lady is most likely dead.

@LygarX YEAH I believe there's five of them 1 is already done with Rena the other 3 are the new girl Rubia and the necromancer girl the 5th one (which I assume is his OG master in the original timeline) has yet to be introduce.

I do get why he despairs. without our meta-goggles There's literally no guarantee that he'll EVER respawn at a point where rubia's alive. For all he knows he'll respawn before freed by isaac where rubia and rena will be perma-dead.

Like obvs he'll meet rubia again, but he can't know that.

@TheAnnoyingBob Considering the restart point is arbitrary, he has no control over it and also doesn't know what consequences using it has or whether it will suddenly stop happening... Your suggestion is what sounds stupid

As multiple people have pointed out to quite a few in this thread.
Because he doesn't know the mechanics behind it, it's always a chance that every time he dies he won't come back.
There is also nothing that says the restart point is going to be before she got killed, as he doesn´t even know that causes the reset point to move forward.
So he can´t take the risk until there are no other options.
