@Panzercracker It's a bit unclear since various translators have called it various things, but I think the guy was referring to the Sword Energy stuff that's super rare and only a handful of people get rather than just "Can use sword". Note that our MC made his sword glow as a show of his abilities instead of using magic or some sort of complex sword skill, the people who know about the sword energy stuff would be far more impressed with the sword glowing than really any other ability he has due to how rare and potent that is, but it's a bit unclear since I believe it's been given 3 different names by the various translators before and this is the first time I think it's been directly relevant since Asura scans came in.

Edit: IIRC one of the first names the sword energy stuff was given was just 'swordsmanship' which was a bit confusing why it was treated as like an impossible bar to learn, so the translation that makes the most sense may not properly convey what it means in the context of this series?

Quite sometime ago it was a relatively big plot point: Blade Energy
(He gained this skill after absorbing it from Vatienne von Leandro and was able to use it once he had achieved enlightenment. Though no clue what chapters exactly.)
